Neighbor events. Got a muggsof page? put up what's coming up, the way you'd stick a flyer on a telephone pole. it shows in your page's own look, with links to your page, Instagram, or Facebook. muggsof.net shows which neighborhoods have something coming up. and in each one, it shows which neighbors are hosting.

Why

most places don't need a website. they just need a name, what they do, a way for folks to find them, and enough attitude to be remembered. that's the whole job. the finished ones live at muggsof.net. no big data centers. one machine, nothing rented.

what's in it

data center free

most websites get built somewhere else. your words get chopped up, stored in a server farm in another state, and sold back to you as a subscription. mine is built in a house in the 7th ward. one desktop. one graphics card. an open brain running on it. your brief, your photos, your drafts, none of that ever leaves the block. no meter running while it thinks. no terms of service on your words. no account to babysit to keep the site alive. the only thing that leaves the house is the finished page, pushed to the web under your name. if the power goes out in a storm, the shop still works. the page just waits.
